{"id":2718,"date":"2019-10-24T09:24:23","date_gmt":"2019-10-24T12:24:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/memoriaferroviaria.rosana.unesp.br\/?p=2718"},"modified":"2019-10-24T09:33:35","modified_gmt":"2019-10-24T12:33:35","slug":"5th-international-congress-of-railway-history-and-heritage-the-legacies-for-our-future","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/memoriaferroviaria.assis.unesp.br\/?p=2718&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"5th International Congress of Railway History and Heritage \u201cThe legacies for our future\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The<strong>&nbsp;5<\/strong><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;International Congress of Railway History and Heritage \u201cThe legacies for our future\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;(a Railways Section of&nbsp;<em>The International Committee for the Conservation of the Industrial Heritage<\/em>&nbsp;-TICCIH meeting),<strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong>and the&nbsp;<strong>4<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;&nbsp;Journey of Young Researchers in Railway History and Heritage&nbsp;<\/strong>will be held, respectively, on March 25 \u2013 26 and 27, 2020, in Campinas (Brazil).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>5<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Congress<\/strong>&nbsp;aims to promote discussion about the role of railway heritage today, particularly in Latin American countries. The event will feature various themes and looks forward to contributions that point to advances in research, management of the preservation and use of railway assets and the importance of these heritage assets for social development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Concomitantly with the Congress schedule, the&nbsp;<strong>4<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;Journey of Young Researchers&nbsp;<\/strong>aims to disseminate the scientific results achieved by undergraduate and postgraduate researchers in railway history, urban studies and preservation of railway industrial heritage.
