{"id":3780,"date":"2020-08-15T14:13:21","date_gmt":"2020-08-15T17:13:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/memoriaferroviaria.rosana.unesp.br\/?p=3780"},"modified":"2020-08-15T14:13:23","modified_gmt":"2020-08-15T17:13:23","slug":"xii-national-meeting-of-railway-researchers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/memoriaferroviaria.assis.unesp.br\/?p=3780&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"XII National meeting of railway researchers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">Purpose<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">Create a platform for the dialogue of ideas, projects,\nand approaches and experiences the status of recent railroad investigations in Mexico,\nas well as contributing to the strengthening of collaboration between universities,\nacademic institutions, research centers and documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">Themes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>History and Railway, its objective is to know the\nsources and research historical facts about railways, with special emphasis on\nthose related to the first half of the 20th century.<\/li><li>Railway and city, its purpose is to present the\nstudies related to the impact of the railways on the shaping of the urban\nenvironments.<\/li><li>Railroad and territory, it is oriented to reflect on\nthe impacts economic, social, cultural and environmental of the railway\nprojects that are currently being develop in Mexico: Mayan train,\ntrans-isthmian, train\u2019s regular suburban and interurban passenger transport.<\/li><li>Railroad and memory, Seeks to recover experiences of democratization\nof the local cultural heritage and cultural identity of the community, through\nthe oral narrative transmitted generationally.<\/li><li>Railway and heritage, Its objective is to know and\nreflect on the impact that the railroad has generated on Mexican society, from diverse\napproaches: technology, migration, sustainability, culture, architecture, among\nothers.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">Addressed to<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>National and international researchers and academics\nwho dedicate themselves to the study of the railway, from the historical,\neconomic, political, social, technological and cultural views.<\/li><li>Undergraduate and graduate students in areas related\nto the subjects that addresses the encounter.<\/li><li>Active and retired railroaders, as well as the\ninterested public in the themes.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">Participation\nguidelines<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Propose a presentation aligned with one of the thematic axes before raised and send a summary of it to the email <strong>dialogos.investigacion@cultura.gob.mx<\/strong>, no later than <strong>September 4<\/strong>.<\/li><li>The abstract can be presented in Spanish or English, with an extension maximum of 250 words and must include: title, thematic axis in which it participates, keywords, full name and email address of the participant.<\/li><li>The acceptance of the papers, as well as the guidelines for their presentation, will be notified by email on September 11, as deadline.<\/li><li>Participants who have been accepted will have until the 30th of September to send your full papers.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">The meeting will take place from October 5 to 23, 2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:18px\">More reports in:<strong>cedif@cultura.gob.mx<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Purpose Create a platform for the dialogue of ideas, projects, and approaches and experiences the status of recent railroad investigations in Mexico, as well as contributing to the strengthening of collaboration between universities, academic institutions, research centers and documentation.
